About MANAVA

MANAVA was conceived from a desire to create beautiful products together with local Cambodian women. The Artisans use only natural rattan and traditional, time-honoured weaving skills. They combined the old Khmer techniques, together with fresh new concepts. The baskets are a fusion of traditional Cambodian basket weaving and Kbach symbolism with a minimalist sensibility to create the most unique and beautiful baskets.

Founded in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in 2016, MANAVA is currently providing 24 female artisans a fair income. Since the female artisans joined MANAVA, their family contribution has increased significantly by more than 100%. With MANAVA, the women know their opinion matters and that they can work in a fair environment where companionship, crafts, and happiness flourish.
